Why We Exist
Not long ago, our founders noticed something remarkable — and frustrating. Across the globe, ordinary people and small organizations were doing extraordinary things: turning invasive plant species into beautiful furniture, transforming ocean plastic into usable goods, converting landfill waste into community products. Brilliant, hopeful, real solutions.
But these initiatives were scattered, invisible, and underfunded. There was no hub where you could discover them. No simple way to support them. No shared stage for the people quietly doing the hard work of healing the earth.
So we built one.
Worldwide Waste is the platform these initiatives never had — a place where environmental cleanup organizations gain the visibility, the reach, and the resources they need to grow.
Our Approach
Phase One: Amplify What's Already Working
Right now, there are people turning environmental problems into products and positive outcomes. They just need more people to know about them.
In this first phase, Worldwide Waste finds these established organizations, promotes their work, and helps sell their products. When you shop through Worldwide Waste, you're not just buying something — you're funding continued cleanup. Commerce becomes a reason to keep going. The more products sold, the more work gets done.
Phase Two: Reach the Places Without a Solution Yet
Some communities are sitting on serious environmental problems — invasive species destroying local ecosystems, waste with nowhere to go — but they don't yet have the tools, training, or resources to address it.
In Phase Two, we go to them. We'll help communities get the equipment and know-how to start turning their environmental burden into something useful. Their products will be listed on our platform, raising funds that fuel further cleanup — and giving the world a reason to care about places it might never have heard of before.
Both phases run on the same simple idea: waste is not the end of the story. It's the beginning of one.
Who We Are
Worldwide Waste is a family project — literally.
It was founded by Brenden King, his wife, and their six kids. We're not a large institution or a well-funded organization. We're a family that saw a gap in the world and decided to do something about it.
We're in the early stages. There's still a lot of work ahead of us, and we're honest about that. But that's exactly why your support matters so much right now.
